Meredith SAAC

The Meredith College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee consists of members from each varsity sport to represent the interests of student-athletes and their overall collegiate experience. The SAAC emphasizes academic integrity and community service opportunities and responsibilities. The committee fosters positive relationships among student-athletes and teams. The student-athletes assist the athletics department with the recommendation and implementation of programs to promote a positive image of intercollegiate athletics within the College campus and surrounding community.

NCAA Division III SAAC

A student-athlete advisory committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on their experience. The SAAC also offers input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes’ lives on NCAA member institution campuses. The mission of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity, protecting student-athlete well-being and fostering a positive student-athlete image.
